Navratri Celebrations at Darshan Academy, Pune, were done with great enthusiasm and gusto. The nimble-footed tiny tot dancers of the pre-primary section were swaying and dancing with such aplomb and zest, giving even the seasoned garba dancers good competition. They looked radiant and happy in their beautiful ghaghra, odhni, and garba attire as they danced to the melodious foot-tapping music. Earlier, in a special assembly conducted by grade three students, the significance and importance of Navratri were explained to the students. They were also educated about the nine avatars of Maa Durga and the upcoming festival of Dusshera. The day culminated on a very happy note, with music and happiness filling each little ear.
