Darshan Academy, Pune, organized an enriching and adventurous trek to the historic Lohgad Fort near Lonavala for grades VII, VIII, and IX students. This activity beautifully blended learning with fun as students explored the fort’s historical and geographical significance and surroundings. The trek allowed students to witness Maharashtra’s rich heritage while gaining practical knowledge about the history and geography of the region around Pune. Guided sessions during the trek highlighted the fort’s architectural marvels and strategic importance in the Maratha Empire. The experience deepened their understanding of history and nurtured their love for nature and adventure.
