Darshan Academy recently held two vibrant events, the Healthy Baby Contest and a joyful Dandiya Celebration, aimed at fostering community engagement and celebrating cultural traditions.
The Healthy Baby Contest encouraged parents to focus on their children’s well-being and overall development. Enthusiastic participation from parents made the event a success, with babies judged on parameters such as overall health, social, and motor skills. The aim was to promote health awareness and early childhood care. The contest was graced by Dentist Dr. Namita Gawde, Nutritionist Ms. Kavita Nebhwani, and Dr. Ruchita Samtani, who also served as the event judges.
Following the contest, the school embraced the spirit of Navratri with a lively Dandiya Celebration. The event was full of color and energy as children, mothers, and community members dressed in traditional attire and danced to the rhythmic beats of Dandiya music.
Both events were a resounding success, with parents, students, and teachers coming together to celebrate health and tradition in a fun and engaging way. Principal Mrs. Renuka Kaushik and Vice Principal Ms. Vinita Seth awarded the winners with prizes and thanked everyone for their enthusiastic participation.
