Every year on June 21st, International Yoga Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the profound benefits of yoga on the body, mind, and spirit. Recognized by the United Nations, this day highlights yoga as an invaluable tradition that nurtures holistic well-being. At Darshan Academy, Pune, the celebration began with a brief introduction on the significance of the day, setting a calm and reflective tone. This was followed by a vibrant group yoga session led by physical education teacher, Mr. Rajan Shinde. Students, teachers, and staff enthusiastically participated in practicing various asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques, promoting mindfulness, inner peace, and relaxation.
