In alignment with the belief that students of today are leaders of tomorrow, Darshan Academy Pune recently hosted its Investiture cum Scholar Badge Ceremony. The event aimed to foster and instill leadership traits in students while recognizing the academic achievers of the 2023-24 academic year.
During the ceremony, the newly elected school council was formally invested with badges and sashes. The event was graced by distinguished guests, Captain Chinchanikar and Mrs. Chinchanikar, Col. Rajesh Pandey, General S Kaushik, and eminent educationists Mrs. Manjula Sharma and Mrs. Kajal Chateja. These eminent personalities awarded the scholar badges and certificates to the deserving students.
Principal Renuka Kaushik shared the details of the election process and administered the oath to the council, emphasizing the responsibilities and values associated with their new roles. Vice Principal Vinita Seth highlighted the importance of the twin ceremony in acknowledging and recognizing the leadership skills and academic pursuits of students, and thanked parents for their support in the school’s continued success.
The highlight of the event was almost the entire primary section that were recipients of the Scholar Badge, the fan dance by the middle school students and the leadership talk show on “AI & the Environment,” educating the strong parent audience about the importance of leaving no carbon footprints.
The melodious renditions from the school choir were greeted with resounding applause. The ceremony highlighted Darshan Academy’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and celebrating academic excellence and was a productive and successful event at the school.
