Students of grades 6 to 9 of Darshan Academy, Pune, visited the orphanage GHAR. It was an extremely moving experience for the students, who saw for themselves how this NGO has taken homeless and orphan children from the streets of Pune and embraced them to give them a proper GHAR and befitting education in the best of schools in Pune. This experience not only filled students’ hearts and minds with gratitude but allowed them to do a little introspection to see for themselves that, given an exposure and a proper environment, any child can be a winner. The two hours of tour simply melted away, and when the time came to bid goodbye and show gratitude, the Darshanites sang, “There shall be showers of blessings for the working force of GHAR.”
