DA Pune’s captivating Annual Concert “Edelweiss” took place on January 25, 2024. The spacious school grounds were beautifully decorated. Chief guest was the IAS officer and the PCMC Commissioner, Mr Shekhar Singh. The guests of honour were Brig MJ Kumar, Mr Ghanshyam Sukhwani, Mr Gurbax Kundnani, Mr Deepak Kundnani, Mr HP Saxena, Mrs Shewta Aggarwal, Mrs Suchita Gupta, and a host of other dignitaries from Pune, including 4 Heads of nearby schools, like Akshara International, Elpro International and GGIS.
The heart thumping performance of the cultural program EDELWEISS, and a scintillating performance of the Hanuman Chalisa recital with acrobatic dance sequence took the breath away of the spectators, who gave a resounding standing ovation.
Edelwiess takes its name from a beautiful, small flower that blooms in the Alps, a symbol of resilience and beauty. The concert was a tribute to the resilience and sacrifice of those who have lived through the turbulent times of challenging times. The cultural program not only honed the speech, musical and drama skills of the students of grades 3 to 10, with a hundred percent participation of all students, but also brought laurels to the school. The students used expression, song and dramatic skills to create a magical evening for the audience. The school also felicitated the top achievements of students of all classes and gave recognition awards to all student council members. The grand event created lasting memories for all present, and blessings and good wishes poured in from all directions.
