On December 12, 2021, Darshanites paid tribute to CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife, Mrs. Madhulika Rawat and the army officials who lost their lives in a recent helicopter crash. Students of Darshan Academy, Pune, prepared tribute cards, wrapped them in envelopes and sent them to the next of kin of the martyrs as a token of their unconditional love and reverence for them. Tribute cards were prepared for General Bipin Rawat, Lieutenant Colonel Harjinder Singh, Brigadier L.S. Lidder, Wing Commander P.S. Chauhan, Squadron Leader Kuldeep Singh, JWO Pradeep Arakkal, Junior Warrant Officer Rana Pratap Das, Havildar Satpal, Lance Naik Vivek Kumar, Lance Naik Sai Teja, Naik Jitender Kumar, Naik Gursewak Singh, Captain Varun Singh and Mrs. Madhulika Rawat. They left us in a helicopter crash near Wellington.
