Darshan Academy, Pune, celebrated Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj’s birthday as Love and Kindness Week from February 1st to 7th to help students imbibe the values of love, empathy, compassion and selfless service. The students participated in various class-wise topics, which included human diet, kindness being the key to happiness, sending love and kindness around the world and the power of love to heal. On the second day, grade I to VI students made thank-you cards for helpers and support staff, and grade VII and VIII students made get-well cards. Students wore fancy dress attire as Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teressa, etc., on day three, and staff and students brought to school old clothes, toys, and eatables, which were distributed among people in need. Students participated with zeal and enthusiasm in Love and Kindness Week.
